I'm a new owner of a nice 1996 low-mileage convertible and a renewed NCRS member after being away for 20 years. We purchased the car to drive and enjoy and were pleased to find out that it is elligible for NCRS judging. My question today is what impact on judging points will the installation of a nose mask (bra) make. The only one I have found for that car uses a number of velcro strips that must be installed on the back side of the headlight buckets and other underhood places. I know it is not 'original', but hate to expose the front end to all those chips that are inevitable on our trips without the bra. I have not installed it yet and await input from the experts. Of course, the bra will be removed for judging, but the velcro strips will remain.
Thanks,
