    This may have to wait for the Winter as I am finally able to enjoy it a bit this summer now that the 100+ heat has passed and it's a non a/c car! I was just happy as punch to get the constant pop out of it! Thanks for the post, it would be great to get it silky smooth again.

      A well tuned LS5 should be silky smooth from idle to redline and pull like a freight train. If you have a "pop" at steady throttle or under acceleration, that's a misfire. If you have a pop during deceleration, that's an exhaust leak.
      I agree as my LS5 runs just as described.

      A bit more time spent fine tuning the ignition following Dukes suggestions should have that LS5 running like a top.
