I don't think that all 1967's had the build sheet affixed to the tank. I think the practice started sometime during the model year. Even after it started, some cars might not have gotten the build sheet (according to folks I knew that worked at St. Louis at the time). It's also possible that the build sheet was once here but long ago "departed" for one reason or another. No matter, if it's not there, it's not there.
Sometimes, build sheets can be found tucked up under the dash or under the carpet. However, this is more of a C3 thing and I'm not sure that anyone has found it in such a location on a C2. Build sheets existed prior to 1967, it's just that they were not affixed to the fuel tank before that time and their otherwise inclusion in the car was "unofficial".
As far as the original shocks go, the fronts were part number (on shock) of GM #3186906, front, and GM #3186907, rear. These were supplied in SERVICE in boxes with part numbers 3186717 and 3186718, respectively. Your chances of finding NOS shocks is slim to none and, if you did, the cost would be humongous (original shocks are "trendy" items that illicit fascination and willingness of some folks to pay huge money). You might find used shocks, but they'll still be very expensive and they'll be USED, with all that implies.
For many years GM offered shocks in SERVICE that were configured identical to the originals but with different part numbers. There were many different different part numbers over the years but all are configured almost identical to the originals for standard suspension shocks. Unfortunately, the last of these were discontinued more than 15 years ago and, today, can be difficult and expensive to find.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Don:
There are two companies that are selling reconditioned/rebuilt original shocks for your car. They will also build and stamp you a set. However, the price is $$$$$. Both advertise in the NCRS DRIVELINE. If you cannot find the ads, send me a private message or e-mail and I will give you the names and phone numbers.
The DRIVELINE also has a few guys that sell original, used shocks. Check the ads and E-bay.
Most of us buy the closest looking shocks that we can find (generally old replacement stock AC DELCO) and repaint them the blue-gray color and then add the stickers. They perform well, and generally result in only a few points deduction in judging. Cost is reasonable $$.

Re: 67 questions...
Don,
Welcome to the NCRS. You will find a lot of guys who are very knowledgeable and eager to help you....I have also made some really good friends through the NCRS so it's all good. I may still have a set of original 907 shocks dated 101-67. Still good resistance. I will look for them tonight if you want or if you want me to send you some pictures of what real ones look like and the orientation of the stamping on the shocks. Good luck with your new ride, and enjoy it....Bring it out for judging.....Regards. ARA- Top

Re: 67 questions...
I just noticed this new section when I went to their website last night. This info apparently hasn't yet made it way into the DRIVELINE ads.

Re: 67 questions...
I really don't know. I would expect that they are close to what Dan charges. The reason they likely added these items is the (high) profit that can be made. Previously, Dan was the only player in town.
AFC selling reconditioned shocks just popped up in the last few months or so......never saw them advertise reconditioned shocks before.
Call and inquire, or drive there and check them out They're just downstate a little from you.

Don
My 67 (22,934) has a build date of 6/28/1967. I recovered the Build Sheet back in 2007 from the Gas Tank.
It's in amazing condition and has been validated by NCRS as being authentic. My guess is a multitude of
things could of happened to your build sheet over the past 45 + years.- Top
