70 SB HalfShaft Inspection Mark

I did a cursory review of the archives and thought I saw where there were no inspection mark son 70 small block halfshafts.

I was just starting to clean mine up and it looks like some kind of mark is still there.

I am pretty sure it is yellow or faded green paint or grease marking.

I took a few pictures for review.

Thoughts?

Bill, On the 70 Corvette registry there is a pic of a driveshaft with some markings. I would say they are much like yours except some green paint.
