65/66 Seat Belt Question (What do the tags mean?)

I found a spare set of what I think are 1966 seat belts and buckles in the garage. Maybe someone can help me with the numbers on the tag. It is just a partial set, but I am sure someone might be able to use them.But first I need to know what the numbers mean. They are black belts with this on the tags. I am sure part of it is the date, but not sure if it is all the date.

I actually thought that the '51" might be the 51st week, but the "A" is what I had no idea of what it might be. Does the "A" mean anything, or matter at all?

Monte, Michael is correct with saying the 51st week of 1965 with "A" standing for the production line. This tag was used to approximately VIN 14000.
