Did Delco Remy start changing the ones fonts in 1962 or earlier? I've noticed that earlier ones have the 90 degree tops but some later ones may have the arrow tops. This regulator is currently for sale on a well know website, and I am wondering if it is correct.

Re: C1 Voltage Regulator Fonts
Thanks for the reply, Donald. Is there a hole for the screw, and if so, is it threaded?
Here is a photo of a different 002E VR with a 1M date code. It also has a ground screw and it has a smaller font for the 1119, or is it the 002E that is a different size?

The regulator has a ground screw. It is not threaded.

Re: C1 Voltage Regulator Fonts
Don't know how many years the following applies to. Gary....
1) Factory installed 1956-57 Voltage regulators part number was in a single line. Font III9 (I used for 1) was smaller than the 0001 stamping.
2) Over the parts counter service replacement 1956-57 voltage regulators were concatenated in two lines, same as Bruce's photo.NCRS Texas Chapter
