Yet another one for the books

I'd say this engine pad needs some real close scrutiny: 194377s118189

I believe it was ebay. My notes have the car listed as a 'project.'

The older one (427/390) looks legit.i wonder why they used a different build date unless there are two 67's with the same vin......Just sayin...

A check at the oil filter area would reveal whether it has the oil cooler provision as a 435 would have. I wonder which car got the 435 intake manifold that I sold on ebay a couple of years ago.

                Wow.......great catch.

                They even restamped the VIN!!!

Too bad, another 390 horse car dies, and another 435 is born.

Re: Yet another one for the books

Not that it matters, but the "questionable" pad I think is dated 4/28 and not 4/29....which would make it a Friday....Regardless, Chris is right - what a shame...another 390 is sacrificed for a made 435.....It's so ironic when we hear non-NCRS members at judged events asking why we take so long to scrutinize a particular car's engine pad...This is prime exhibit A....
