54 Brake Master Leaking

I have an original brake master cylinder. Its been rebuilt and working fine. It seems to leak from around the cap-original cast cap. I put two cork gaskets on and it helped for a while. I've been filling the master to about an inch below the bottom cap threads. Too full? Its just making a mess and dripping on the firewall.

Are you sure it's leaking from the cap?

How about the fittings in the front?

Definitely leaking from around the cap.

Cathy, might try sealing it with Fuel Lube sealer. Any aircraft supply house will have it. Gary....
