    1966 original headlight bulbs

Does anyone have close-up picture of what an original 1966 headlight bulb is, and what it should not be, that would get full judging credit. Latley I have heard such discrepencies, I do not know what to buy. Dutch

    Try this link: http://www.lectriclimited.com/mainpage.htm

Lectric Limited reproduces the T3 headlights for many of the Corvettes. Their charts show the configurations for the different years. The only difference with their reproductions is a very small "DOT" logo in the front glass to indicate that their lights are DOT compliant/approved. This results in a very small deduction in judging.

If you want original T3 headlights, the configuration is the same, minus the small DOT..........but the originals are also dimmer lights and are more prone to failure when least expected.

Forget used original sealed beams unless your car is a "trailer queen". If it's driven, at all, use only the reproductions or current-manufacture sealed beams.
