    Vacuum Advance Line for '69 L36 w/ M20 & w/o C60

I searched the archives but couldn't find quite what I was looking for. In the AIM, 6-C1, it describes the steel vacuum advance line (Spark Pipe) as part number 3883220. This would appear to be for the base engine. The L36 section of the AIM doesn't call out a special part number for the vacuum advance line but the TIM&JG describes the line as different for small blocks:

"...a natural steel line runs from the carburetor almost all the way to the distributor."

as opposed to the small block line:

"...a steel line from the carburetor to just behind the choke stove."

It would appear that the BB line steel portion of the line is longer than that of the SB. If this is correct, does anyone know the part number of the BB steel line? A picture would be great too.

    Thanx,

Just to satisfy my curiosity: If you had the part number, what good would it do you?

A parts supplier asked me for the number to verify what I need.

It was GM #3883220, the same as 1969 small block. However, it was never available in SERVICE from GM.
