You 63 guys I looking for the correct mounting sequenence of the top bolt, star lock washer, ground wire, capacitor on regulator. And a minor detail on the heater hose to intake manifold (340 eng.), does it route in front or rear of the alternator adjuster bracket?

Re: 63 voltage regulator mounting details, and heater hose routing
Hi Ed, While the AIM shows a star washer, earlier pics here of original cars would tend to suggest that there was none. Here's pic of mine

I think the hose was routed forward of the bracket, as shown

Re: 63 voltage regulator mounting details, and heater hose routing
Ed, I agree with Michael, also make sure you route the heater hoses at the heater core like this picture shows. This is my 67 but the 63 is identical. The tee goes on a 45* angle and the lower hose goes outboard and over the top hose to keep it away from the exhaust manifold.Attached Files- Top

Ed,
The capacitor set up can be found in the AIM, SecU69 s7.00, and the same setup is in the 63 Shop Manual, 13-9.
No star washer! Just a quick comment - star washers we NOT used everywhere for grounds- Top

Here's another view of the heater hoses, like Tim's except showing the 63 clamps, etc.

Re: 63 voltage regulator mounting details, and heater hose routing
Since I'm not into judging, I prefer to route my hoses on my 63 with the lower hose on the bottom. The 63 straps are more than enough to keep the hose away from the exhaust manifold, specially when you cross over to the top before the clamp under the alternator. Routing to the bottom allows me better access to the tee connections and facilitates tank removal when it becomes necessary to change out the battery - and it will become necessary!
I know this is not what you want to hear, but some of us drive our cars and perform our own maintenance, as I have done for nearly 50 years on this car. I thought I'd include this little tid bit for others who may read this thread and use their car as I do. For the rest of the purists, I apologize.
