Coil Spring Cushions
I am restoring my 1967 Corvette Convertible. It was my dad's car that he bought used from a local owner in 1972. It was kept all original, which leads me to my question, this is a 327/300 factory air car. When I disassembled the front suspension I found spring cushions under the front coil springs. Everything I read says that spring cushions were never used except for big blocks with air. Does anyone have any other information that may be of help. I know my dad did not put them on the car and it seems odd that the original owner would have during the first 5 years of the car's life.

My BB AC conv. had them, but I have never seen them on a SB. -

They were on my 64 sm block thought they were suppose to be there , ordered new ones didn,t fit so cleaned the old ones and put them on the new springsComment

They are NOT installed on my 1967 327/350 HP factory air car. VIN # 14845 (late March 1967 build).

They were not installed on my 67 300hp AC roadster, that I purchased from the orig owner. Ser# 115--Comment
