C1 front end lift kit ?

In the old days the front end of C1s for racing were raised using a beam type device placed between the front suspension and the frame.
I saw one on Ebay a while back but did not get it.
From time to time I see the risers that go under the coil springs but I don't like them
    .
Now I need one, anyone have an idea where I might find a set?
    Thanks.

How high are you trying to raise it?

      Bruce,

You can put the passenger car steering knuckle supports. That'll raise it an inch or more.

A lot of the cars back in the day chained down (compressed) the rear springs, which also gave the appearance of the front end being raised.

        Terry,
4 inches would be about right.

An old racer from Tulsa advised me that the "risers" can be fabricated from 4 inch aluminum I beam.
The material is readily available (Ebay) so I am going to take a look at making a set.
