Planning a senic ride home from National Convention. Thinking of Going to North Rim of Grand Canyon then following Rt 89, to Page then Rt 98 to Rt 163 then Rt 160 to Durango Co. then Rt 550 to Montrose, then Rt 50 to Colorado Springs. Are these roads fit for C5,C6 Corvette Travel? Thanks for all replys. Gary

Gary,
If you are already planning to visit the North Rim you should not pass up on seeing Bryce Canyon if you can fit it in . I can't tell you about the other routes But 89 and 89A in and out of the Grand Canyon and on into Bryce were a little rough in spots , but nice and windy with great views , and good enough to make a great motorcycle trip !!
As an aside, I Highly reccomend Jacob's Lake at the North rim . A Cabin if you like rustic , or a Hotel room if you like TV and such .
Enjoy ,
Jim- Top

Can't speak for the ones listed for Arizona, but all the ones you listed for Colorado are great for Corvettes. One minor detail is Hwy 50 won't bring youto Colorado Springs. It goes to Pueblo and then you can take I-25 to the Springs. You can also take Hwy 115 from 50 and get to the Springs that way.- Top

My 2012 ZR1 has only 5" of clearance on the front splitter, and I wouldn't take it on some of those roads either, not to mention the run ups to the gas stations, restaurants, etc.Big Tanks In the High Mountains of New Mexico- Top
