Yes the one you showed (Ralph Spears) are the examples that Al showed us.To think every C2-C3 Corvette made had one at
one time. Wish I could find mine. I wonder how Ralph got the W/I? Did GMAC mail it to him or did they mail it to the dealer and
they gave it to him? Larry

Full disclosure is in order. At the time Ralph bought that Corvette I believe he was employed at Lubby Chevrolet. You should ask him how he got the W/I.

Terry is correct, I was employed at the dealer at the time. I got it from their files when they closed up and went out of business.That paper was confidential because it showed what they paid for the car.

I am sure GMAC in Tarrytown had a copy. Does anyone know if the Tarrytown office is still there.

For those with newer C3s, you can get a copy from the GM Heritage Center for $50. I was able to get the dealer invoice for my '78. I think their records start in '77 for Corvettes and may go back a little further for other marques.
