1962 generator ground

I see in the schematic that there appears to be a ground wire from the back of the generator. Can someone tell me where it bolts to the back (or on top) of the generator and where it grounds from there?

Jeremy -

There's no separate ground wire from the back of the generator - what you see is simply a graphic representation of the path to ground provided by the attachment of the generator to the exhaust manifold.

On a 1960 the wires are shielded and the shields are attached at the generator case, bolt for suppressor, to the voltage regulator. Like John said there is not a separate ground but the regulator gets it ground from the shields. At least on a 1960. Very important.
