    71 LT-1 radiator/core source

Unless I'm missing them, I don't see a source for correct radiator or core for a copper/brass radiator for a 71 LT-1. I have original side tanks and connecting bars with squares/rectangles. Core is shot. Where do I find a core and have it put together?

    DeWitts has the core:

You still have to be sure your radiator guy uses the correct parts from your original if you want it to look exactly like Day 1.

DeWitts used to do the replacement work if you really wanted; not sure if they still do.
Give them a call, as they're nice people. I dealt with them a few months ago and they are easy to work with and very helpful.

      Mike,

I have a friend out here in CT that owns a radiator and repair shop. He has done work for me in the past using the original tanks. I may still have some original radiator paint that Harrison used to paint those radiators. I consider myself to be as anal as anyone with an eye for assembly line accuracy. You have my contact info. If you decide to send it out here I could "police" the project for you. Let me know.
