Mid-Year Vent Window Gears

I have been reading the past articles, but most are somewhat old. Who ae the Vendors that are reproducing the Gears for vent windows? I saw add in the Driveline for Corvette USA and I purchase a set of them. I have discovered that their gears do not include the window stop mechanism. The existing gear out of my '64 only had teeth that go a little over half way around th shaft. The Corvette USA have teeth completely around the shaft and don't have any casting to stop the vent window.

Are there any manufactorers that have gears like the originals?

These gears may get pass judging, but they will not pass a PV.

I tried the ones from Corvette USA and ended up throwing them in the trash. The ones from Paragon are the same as the originals. I could have saved some money by going there first.

Jim, thanks, I could have save some bucks myself. I normally inquire on the discussion Board, but I thought the gears were not a main issues and you cannot see them. My mistake. Thanks for letting me know the Paraagon gears. I order a lot of part from them but I missed that they sell these gears.

I had not know that all NCRS members get 10% discount. I am getting 10-15% discount from ordering large enough orders. I will be sure all of our members here know about this. I live only blocks for a local parts vendor, but I use Paragon because of the discounts and taxes. THANKS
