Another TCS question

R there any clips that attach the wire coming off the temp switch in the pass side head to keep the wire off the hot manifold? Any clip on the bell housing for TCS wire etc..?

Pictures would be great.

Hi Bill,
On my mid-January the jumper wire running to the temperature sensor in the right-side head had it's extra length folded back on itself several times and held at that point with some old fashioned black cloth electrical tape.
The wire running to switch on the transmission passed through a small clip that is riveted to the firewall quite low down and just at the point that the transmission tunnel begins It's the same clip that holds the wires for the back-up light switch.
If you can't find the clip let me know and I'll snap a picture for you.

That picture is what mine looks like. I just thought maybe there was a clip somewhere rather than the wire just hanging.

With the chrome shield in place the wire stick out less, and my car doesn't have that extra length folded in on itself. The plastic connector is still prone to melt in that environment. Get a spare from a turn signal flasher connector in the recyclers.

It is my hope that by hooking upall the wiring correctly that the incessant clicking in the radio will stop per my other thread.

I am going to by pass the solenoid for now.
