Engine Smoke 427/425

Engine has less than 1000 miles. No smoke from engine on start up or at idle. When taking off with pace I get smoke from passanger side. Smoke appears to be black. Any suggestions as to possible source of problem?

Walter, black smoke is fuel, You may have a carb problem, take a look down the throat of carb. and see if there is fuel dripping on the pass. side of carb.
