68 T-Top Interior Surround Interior Removal

Im installing a new rear window rubber. The three screws holding the upper corner of the rubber in place are behind the t-top interior pieces. Ive taken out the screws but it appears the interior plastic is clipped? over the t-top opening lip? How do I remove this panel? Ive reviewed the AIM at length but just need alittle guidance. The pieces Im trying to remove are the b pillar/targa bar covers.

Hi Cathy,
This info is based om my 71, and I'm not sure if the fastener situation on your 68 is the same. BUT, at least this will get your post to the top again for some new looks.
The 2 large hinge pillar pieces of trim need to come off first. Then the long piece of trim on the targa bar, and then the 2 pieces on the halo that are blocking your access to the weatherstrip screws. As each piece comes off it reveals some hidden screws that need to come out.
