    Eastwood Gold Cadium paint

Probably heresy to put on NCRS board but as I am restoring and driving my 68 - bubba at some point got hold of a silver paint can and a black gloss can. I just could not stand the look so I bought Eastwoods 3 step gold cadium. I must say it turned out very presentable - would not impress the judges but I will post a picture when I get it all reassembled.

I have seen the results of that process. My take is it is fine for the drive-in, but any NCRS judge who is fooled by it needs to turn in his clip board and flashlight.

You may want to look into plating systems from Caswell- http://www.caswellplating.com/
Very good DYI kits with great results!
