    Bob Johansen your post has sure received a lot of posts on 69 side exhaust. Do not know if you need any more information, but I have some 1969 exhaust coverings. I put the 69 style side exhaust on my 1970 in 1973 or 1974 and ran it for several years. I had viewed the new 1969's with side exhaust in magazines or adds and when I bought my new 1970 I wanted them. Anyway I still have my 69 side exhaust covers in the attic. I believe I have the two front support braces that I bought from GM somewhere that I never did install.

        The original covers on my July 24 69 have distinct left and right covers with two holes at the rear. I have a bag with my original rusty z bar setup that came off the car, so at 25757 the changeover at the factory had already taken effect.

        I will check out my friends original survivor 69 in the next few days when I have a chance.
