    Cost of restoration supplies.

Today I went to my local auto supply store (not Auto Zone, Advance Auto or another big chain) and bought a aerosol can of SEM Self Etch Primer. Got my commercial discount and ended up paying $18.86 for a 15.5 ounce can and that was with the 30% discount.
I was totally surprized since I had paid about $12.50 last year, and I thought that was high..
With transportation costs going up due to fuel prices I guess I should buy more before the price goes even higher.

Agree with Wayne, go buy a gallon of epoxy primer, another gallon of 2K primer surfacer, a gallon of red, and the necessary activators/reducers. You can easily spend $2,000.00 or more.

        Bruce:
That is high for that product. Krylon owns Dupli Color. Their green self etching primer is 16oz can with 12oz fill and the LIST price is $12.96 It should be available for under $10.

If there are any petrochemicals in it, that's your answer.

                    Hi,
The only restoration cost that hasn't greatly increased in the last 20 years is the cost of labor.
I was working for $0 per hour then, and still am!
                    Regards,
                    Alan
