    C2 radio capacitors

If I read the JM correctly for the 67, there should be a capacitor with the bluish colored paper at both the emergency flasher and the turn signal flasher, however, I only see one shown in the AIM. Question is : Is only one required at the TS flasher OR one at each of the flasher units? If 2, are both the same or are they different?

Al - If you haven't already, check the archives because I think this came up sometime ago because Long Island's catalog listed 2 of the flasher capacitors for the 67. My 3rd Ed only mentions the capacitor w/ the gray/blue paper insulator on the turn signal flasher and I don't see anything in the 67 AIM showing a capacitor in the Fuse Panel for the hazard flasher. Furthermore why would you bother having one on the hazard flasher? If you have to use the hazard flashers you have more problems to worry about than to worry about bothering somebody's radio reception with static. Pete

      Al -

There's no capacitor on the hazard flasher in the fuse block; the JG (4th Edition, Second Printing) describes it correctly - capacitor only on the turn signal flasher on the radio side panel.
