AIR, ie. Air Injection Reactor system?
Yes.
Only 1972 were available with AC, i.e. air conditioning also commonly referred to as "air."

Re: 1972 LT1 w/air
I am referring to A.I.R. (air injection reactor). I ask the question only because of the '72 Proteam has for sale. It does not appear to have A.I.R. System. $69K. Wow

Re: 1972 LT1 w/air
I was a mechanic back in the day when the AIR system was common. Lots of these systems were removed because they were in the way for performing routine maintenance . Most people thought that they robbed the engine of a lot of HP and removed them. I remember a pile of the compressors laying out back of the Dealership . I wish I would have hoarded them all up .
