Date correctness for a 1969 L46 A.I.R. (SMOG) pump

I have read the many previous posts on the 68-69 smog systems. My question is the date code of the AIR/smog pump in relation to the remainder of the engine compartment and the car build date. My car has a build date of March 13, 1969 (S/N 718855) while my original engine compartment components are mostly January (15th, 17th, 21st, 24th and 29th) to an engine stamp date of January 30th. Since I need to find an AIR/smog pump for my car, what would the ideal date be for my car? I am not sure where it most commonly falls in relation to the other dated items. Thanks in advance for any response which does not merely say "6 months before March 13th."

OK Shannon, I will not say " 6 months before March 13" even though that is the standard that we use. My suggestion is to contact Bill Hodel as he is the person who I feel knows the most about Corvette smog systems and can fine tune the date for you. Give Bill a call at 330 832 0871.
