Possible To Install Positive Battery Cable in C-3?

Short of removing transmission (it's a 73 Automatic), can the positive battery cable be properly replaced? Looks like a several pint job!

I think the auto trans is larger than the 4 speed, so if it's possible to do I'd imagine it to be even more of a challenge than the 4 speed.

I was successful in getting my cable replaced with the 4 speed trans in place. Not an easy job!

My unsolicited advice would be to make sure you have a 7/16" swivel socket in 1/4" drive and a nice long extension too. You need to remove all the cable-to-body clamps and there are a few above the trans (under the foil insulation mat).

    Hope this helps!
