57 maiden voyage and coil search

My restoration is nearing completion... I was able to drive what was my dad's car today for the first time; it hasn't been on the road in over 20 years!! It was amazing... Still a few kinks but i see light at the end of the tunnel.. Thank you to all that helped in this effort over the last year!

I still need to find an original 091 ignition coil. Is there one hiding out there??? Thanks!!

            Susan,

Thank you so much for sharing. I am so happy for you. I wish I could find my dad's 1955, I would be a very happy little boy. Even more so if I could afford to buy it. .

            Your car is beautiful!!!

Hi Al, my dad was an Alfred... he bought the car from a friend in 1960 and drove it lovingly until the early 90's. He passed away in 1997. My mom had it at the family home until last Jan when I had it shipped to California and started the restoration process. ncrs correct all the way. Phase 2 will be the exterior but for now, my ride is pretty cool! Keep searching for yours. You never know... Regards, Susan
