Question about black out and undercoating on wheel wells.

Did the backsides of the a arm flaps and staples get black out paint sprayed on them? Also, what about the bolts and nuts on the internal wheel well side, did they get painted with flat black as well? For example, the TI box module bolts, bolts for the heater retaining bracket, voltage regulator retainers, etc. I am pretty sure they werent installed yet, but thought i would ask anyway.
Also, were the upper skirt seals in place before the undercoating was sprayed on. I have looked at several cars which have seals that have the undercoating applied to them, but i am not sure if it was original or not.

    Thanks

The rubber flap seals were stapled to the inner fenders before the inner fenders went into the front clip bonding fixture in the Body Shop, so they were all in place well before the blackout and undercoat operation at the end of the Paint Shop. None of the other nut-and-bolt items you mentioned were in place - they were all added on the Hard Trim Line, after the Paint Shop. Generally, anything that was riveted to the inner fenders or firewall was done in the Body Shop.

The hood hinge bolts were in place in the Body Shop; the fan shroud bolts went in much later, on the Final Line.
