    '71 LS6 Carb Center-to-Center Fuel Inlet Measurement

Can someone tell me the center-to-center measurement of the carb fuel lines on an original '71 LS6? I would think it would be the standard 9.25" for a model 4150. I ordered a 3 piece fuel line set which does not fit either "style" of Holley carb, 4150 or 4160. The model 4160 is 8-21/32".
    Thanks.

Right, forgot about the monster carb. Looks to me an LS6 carb is basically the same as what comes on an L88 or L72 and the fuel line for those is 9.25".

A 4150 is a 4150. Certain dimensions should be the same among all. However, I can tell you positively that the center-to-center fuel line dimension for the Holley list 4803 LS-6 carb is 9.25". The LS-6 did not use a fuel line configuration like L-88 or L-72, though. Those applications used a "Y" block with approximately equal length fuel lines to each float bowl. The LS-6 used a "90 degree" block with very short and long fuel lines to the float bowls.

Thanks Joe for confirming what I thought was the case. I've ordered an LS6 line from inline tube and it's about 3/8" too short and I'm having a hard time convincing them. I even sent them a picture with lines layed out on a ruler. In any case, other vendors tell me theirs are correct but I want them to measure first since I know inline supplies others like paragon. Waiting to hear from Fine Lines. I actually have the L88 line set but it doesn't work on a low-rise intake that fits under a standard C3 BB hood so that's why I'm running the LS6 intake. Shouldn't be this hard...

This is exactly the reason why GM used a different fuel line configuration for the LS-6. If the L-88 or L-72 style would have worked, I'm sure they would have used that configuration and not have gotten involved in creating new parts.
