Was looking thru CC parts book last night and saw they listed a belt guard for a 67 327 with A.C. I looked at the AIM today and could not find one listed in the belt or PS section. Is this just an aftermarket item or was there one installed by the factory?

Re: 67 PS Belt guard
The belt guard was a GM piece known as GM #3890478. It is shown in the N-40 power steering section of the AIM. It was discontinued without supercession in 1985.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: 67 PS Belt guard
Hey Joe, I must have overlooked it today in the AIM. I'm not sure if mine had one on it when I dis-assembled it back in 92-93. It still had the orig pump, etc on it, but not the orig. belt. What page # was the GM # on so I can quickly take a look at what it should look like when I get back in 2-3 days? I have 1-2 pcs that went on the block somewhere that I figured I find out by the AIM or trial & error. Thanks!! Al- Top

It's in UPC N-40, sheet A2 (page G394 in my copy of the AIM). It is configured just as it is shown on that page.
I'm not sure that all original pumps for cars with C-60 actually had this piece installed. It was supposed to be installed but I think the factory may have deleted it due to fitment/interference problems associated with it.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
