    C-1 Outside door handles

Anyone have the part numbers for outside door handles? I see on ebay often but do not know if they are for C-1's. Looking for 1958-60 Thanks in advance

Jerry, be careful as a lot of the repop door handles are not correct. They "wing up" and should not pass Judging. Gary Pronesti did have correct ones. Don't know about the rest of the parts vendors.

What does wing up mean? I bought some repros made by Trimparts. They seem identical to my originals, but I could be missing some small detail.

          Roger,

Door handles on the car, step back behind the car and look at the door handles. Original are parallel with the ground.

          Two things to check/compare:
          1) thickness of lip below the push button
          2) angle of the edge of the handle where it meets the door

After reading Gary's Post, I just got around to double checking my repro door handles. Unfourtunatly they are not an exact match to the originals. I also compared them to some GM replacements that I had purchased in the 70's.
There is a very slight difference at the top of the handle. the originals stick out slightly more. I tried loosely fitting the repros to the door and the they don't have a firm fit. The orignals fit with no movement. I guess I won't be using the repros.
