Where do I cut seams in door weatherstrip and battery box seal in my 69

I assume the seam on the door is supposed to be at the bottom middle?

What about the battery door seal? Is the seam also at the middle rear?

Hi Gary,
On my 71 the seam for the battery compartment seal is in one of the corners. I don't know how typical that might be.
The door weatherstrip seam was roughly in the middle.

As Alan said, the battery compartment foam seal is usually cut at the corners and the door w/s is cut at the bottom in the middle.

I agree with Alan's and Ron's assessment. I have seen a lot of door weatherstrip with the cut somewhere toward the door front and quite often, it doesn't meet.
