    63 AM radio question

Does the AM radio capacitor for the directionals go in the fuse block with the flasher unit, or mount on top of the steering column? Thanks Ed

    Ed,

The capacitor for the directionals is on the fuse block and the one on the top of the steering column is for the brake switch.

Joe, I the AIM shows the capacitor for the E/brake is switch mounted as it appears on firewall, and A capacitor mounted on top of the column for the directional switch for U65. It does show a capacitor on flasher for U69?

        Edward,

I am not aware of any cap mounted in the fuse block that connects to the flasher for U-65 cars. The only cap I remember goes on top of the steering column and the leads go to the turn signal switch that is mounted with the same screw. I am pretty sure this controls the brake light and directionals, (same wire) but I don't have my AIM in front of my at the moment.
