    This would indicate that the dimples were NOT used. If the dimples had been used for hole location the amplifier would have been on the inboard side of the reinforcing bracket.

        You can see the impression in the finder skirt molding to locate drill holes for the reinforcing bracket in first photo. The impressions for drilling are on the forward side of the finder skirt not the aft side. TI amp location impressions are similar but smaller. The impressions in the molding would be hard to see while on the car. I think you might be able to us a small angle drill to drill the holes from the forward side if you can see the impressions. You might be better off to drill from the aft side of the skirt. Make a templet from your amp and estimate the location.
