1957 Fan Shroud Installation
I never had a fan shroud on my '57. I recently acquired a four piece shroud from a '59. Seems like everything is the same(?). Everything is very tight and I was wondering what kind of clearances I need, other than the obvious. The bottom piece is right up against the radiator when screwed in place. Should that be, or is a little tweaking and bending in order? The passenger side frame piece rubs on the lower radiator hose. There doesn't seem to be enough room for the fan blade either. Did I read this shroud wrong? I can't conceive an actual '57 shroud being any bigger!
