Help needed reading date code on original A/C refrigerant hoses

    Hi,
I have some original 66 A/C hoses here, they are the Goodyear type marked GY, one has an identification code format of 13/32 4120 GY 65-9 followed by 6 dots before repeating, which I interpret as Sept of 65 ( although the JM indicates it should read 9-65 ), I am pretty certain this is an original hose, the printing is in greenish.

One other is also GY but appear possibly to be printed in white and in finer detail. These read 5/8 - GY -4744 - 0150, I cannot figure the date code meaning, can anyone help? Pretty certain these also are originals, actually appear more aged than the hose with green printing

The other is same white appearing print and reads 13/32-GY-4744-1 872, that repeats twice, closely spaced then there is approx a 6" space before starting over with a 135 in the center of that space.

What have I got here for correctness/date codes?

    Thanks

Bill --- this might not help much, but here's (which I'm sure are) the original hoses on an early '64 compressor (not Corvette); back '302' head dated September '63. Both hoses follow the date format mentioned in the '65 TIM&JG; ie. MMYY. In this case it goes ----4210 ---GY---12-63-----.

        Thanks Craig and Wayne,
        Its all helpful!

Craig, I took note that your refrigerant hoses are retained with the strap on the inner skirt near the rear of the compressor. As I understood it, only the forward strap was used for that, up by the clutch, next to the unused hood support pad. Does your car have an additional strap in that location also?

Bill, that is a photo that was sent to me so I have no idea on the placement of the retainer but mine is a 67 and I do have two retainers, one across from the clutch as you mentioned and one in the forward position as outlined in the AIM on UPC C60 D7 of the 67 AIM. I believe sometime in 66 they went to the two retainer use.

            Craig,
Thanks, is there a reference to the additional strap being added anywhere?
