Re: window dates
John for judging reasons the glass can be 1 yr. before the build date. production glass varies from a few weeks to months. There maybe some cars with dated glass that are all the same. my 63 was different for the vents windows and side glass. I have the original windshield but cannot recall the date.New England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.- Top

Re: window dates
My Early April 64 has the following:
Driver Window - OCTOBER 1963
Passenger Window - DECEMBER 1963
Driver Vent - DECEMBER 1963
Passenger Vent - DECEMBER 1963
Windshield - AUGUST 1963
I am pretty sure the glass is all original to the car.- Top

Re: window dates
Mine has a mid-December 1963 build date with the following:
Passenger door: AC (Sept 63)
Passenger Vent: AC (Sept 63)
W/S: YC (Oct '63)
Driver Vent: YV (Replacement which also says Safety "Float" instead of Safety "Plate")
Driver Door: YC (Oct '63)
