At a recent swap meet, I purchased the top half of an AC fuel pump. A vague stamp on the mounting flange, in very small font size, was "4744". Does anyone know if there is a 4744 fuel pump and if so, what vehicle did it fit? It was difficult to read the numbers even with a magnifying glass. It has little "AC" on the top. Looks like it had the build date in the center of a circle of dots; probably representing the month or day. The info is worn down and not legible.

I did come up with part number AC 4754 there isn't an AC 4744 in my numerical listing.
The AC 4754 fit a 1960 to 1963 GMC with a 305 V/8.
In looking at an illustration of the pump it has a long arm on a 45 degree angle. -

Would anyone have the fuel pump ac number for an early Sept. build 59 vette? Has 2 four carbs, if there is a difference. Corvette central shows one with a part #3511314 shows to be an original rebuilt 4656.Comment
