Help!!!!!!!! I'm trying to make heads or tails out of the AIM on the locations that the neutral safety/backup light switch wires hook to in the other harnesses. Thought I had pics from way back when it was dissasembled, but can't locate these particular ones. The 1 two wire connector hooks in somewhere in the dash, while the other 2 single wires connected under the hood on the firewall (not sure if 1 or both hooked under the hood). Anyone have any detailed pictures of the wiring connections or can tell me what goes to what. The writting on my old harnesses faded away over an 18 yr period, so it wasn't any help. Car is a 67 327-300HP with powerglide and AC. Many, many thanks AL

Those connections and the wire colors, both under the dash and the two on the engine side above the wiper motor in the purple wire, are shown in your Assembly Manual in section M35, sheet A5.- Top

Re: 67 Auto Trans wiring hookups
John, I've looked at that page and can't find which wires on the harness depicted on the left in the engine compartment they hook into. I only see 1 12ga wire there. and there doesn't appear to be another taped up in the harness anywhere as per the notes. Inside the car, I don't see which connector to plug the 2 wire connector into. Wire colors don't match up on the main harness.- Top

Re: 67 Auto Trans wiring hookups
John, I have looked at that page and cannot find 2 wires to hook into in the engine compartment. There doesn't appear to be one taped up in the engine wiring harness as in the notes on that page. Inside I can't find a 2 wire connector with the same wire colors or wire sizes that matches up to the m35 harness. Would these be a smaller size wire on the main harness? If you need me to, I can go back out into the shop or bring the old harnesses into the house tonight. Thanks- Top

Re: 67 Auto Trans wiring hookups
Problem solved!! I called Lectric Limited today & in a matter of 1-2 minutes, was told how to hook up the wires. The AIM does not correctly depict the wire locations inside the engine compartment. Only 1 connector is in the engine wiring harness, the other 3 are in the main harness, with 1 of the wires being inserted thru the firewall grommet into the engine area to join with the M35 harness there, rather than under the dash. Al Great tech support from Lectric Limited !!!!!- Top
