    1954, 1965, and 1976

I family member has located a 1954 an old race car for sale at a very low price 7K. Also maybe able to purchase 2 other corvettes a damaged 1965 and an 1976. for the 54 what would be a fair market value on a car like this. I only have a few photos of the 54 the 65 is in the background.

I'm guessing that the original drive train is long gone, probably many of the gauges as well. You are most likely looking at a hacked up frame and body panels as you see them. $7000 might even seem rather high. If original seats, gauges, top, etc. are there it could be slightly higher. This would be a good start for a phoenix type project of making an old race car run again. Hopefully it has a vin tag and title. Prices for minor pieces on these early cars (53-55) can make your eyes water so consider that if a restoration is what you have in mind.

      Paul,

You need to decide what you want to do with it...full restoration, driver, custom, resto mod? Take an inventory of what's not there and get some parts estimates on what it needs (consult vendors lists and catalogs). Don't forget body and paint, and use reasonable estimates not guesses. Then compare it to what it would sell for. In the archives are a bunch of links to "for sale" websites (search for "what is it worth"). One of the best is usedcorvettesforsale.com. Also, Mecum just sold a few and they're on thier website under the Kissimee results.

If you can put two or all of them in a package deal you'll be better off. Get them to throw in the ISO or Vespa, or whatever it is.

Thanks guys still trying to get more info on the cars what parts are there engines, trans, interior, etc. All I have to go on is the photos at this point the family member is going back to get more info hope he asked the question I relayed to him and gets some answers. Who knows what is lurking in the building. Wish I could view the cars a lot of my question would be answered.
