Does anyone know who sells the plastic half shaft covers that mount on the trailing arm to protect the universal joint on an 82 Corvette?

As far as I know, no one reproduces this part and they are very difficult to find. In very late 1988 I ordered a pair of these from GM as they were supposed to be still available at that time. As it turned out, they had been just discontinued (November, 1988) and I received one but not the two I ordered. Apparently, I got the last one still in any warehouse in the entire GMSPO system at that time. I've been looking for the one I didn't get ever since and I've yet to find it. Why would I want them? That's a good question.
