56 E Brake Flasher - Repair?
Does anyone know of someone that repairs the Tung Sol oblong original emergency brake flashers for early corvettes? Mine quit working. Any help would be appreciated.

You may be able to repair it yourself. Carefully pry off the cover. Mine from my '59 had minimal glue on the cover and came off easily. I think the earlier '56 version is similar.
If the fine wire isn't damaged, it just may need the contacts cleaned. You can try some 400 grit sandpaper and it may do the trick.

Hi Mark,
You can search the archives, I believe there was some discussion on the flashers. Also, try Mary Jo Rohner as she may have them for sale. I bought one from her some time back and she sent one with the wrong number on it. Would not work in my system; so you should check your number before ordering.
