Finland keeps the tradition alive !

Even in Finland, they know about the tradition of washing my car. "Yorcci"
kept it up even in almost freezing weather.

Thanks again to the Corvette Club of Finland for the great reception.

Thinking of warm weather in France

I thought this would be a good time to think warm. Since it will be a bit chilly when I get back to Maine

        The Oslo Car Show

Well the trip is starting to wind down and I fly home tomorrow. I dropped the car off at the docks and hopefully it will be in NJ around the 21st of November.

This weekend is the Annual Oslo Car Show. American Cars are very disirable in Scandinavia and if you get an email or phone call from Europe about your car that may be for sale, take it seriously. Thousands of American cars are being bought by Europeans and they want to drive them as well as collect them. Enjoy the pictures.

There were many trucks displayed and the art work on them was something.

              Re: The Dutch Corvette Collection

Great read. That's a long way to go to find a good mechanic! Have you run into any other problems going from country to country, language, customs, paperwork, ? Anything you wished you would have packed but didn't or packed but didn't need? Is this the best time of year for this type of trip? Anyplace you wish you had budgeted more time?

You need to write a book about your tours. I have thoroughly enjoyed each entry. Wish I would have thought about such a trip first.

                  Car is still in Norway

Hello to all, I have been busy catching up on weatherization of my house and rest. I expected my car to be shipped on Nov. 1, but because of the storm and NJ port problems, it will be shipped on Nov. 8th, and should arrive around the 29th of November.

I would like to thank Heidi, of Motorships.no , for her help in taking care of my car in Norway for the shipment home. Because of the delay, Heidi, had my car put under cover until shipment. Thank you Heidi !

Pictures of my car at the dock , more than 8,500 miles covered by road , train and boat ferry.

Thank you Jan-Ivar for the happy ending in Norway

Next week I will start to post by country with a little more detail of where and when.

Thanks to all again and again

Hi Erik, I have a special post for the NCRS.nl group. My time with you and the rest of the members of the Netherlands chapter was unforgettable. I have to laugh at the pictures I have of you on a motor bike in Amsterdam, soon I will share them with all.

I am beginning to collect data and will be posting more details on the technical aspects of the trip.

OMG! It is obvious some governments want to do away with cars entirely and thus the massive taxes and dis-incentives to own one. Even worse than when I lived in Norway, and I thought that was bad. We feel for you poor people over there.

I have been spending hours going over all the photos and videos from the European Tour. I will soon be posting as I get them in some kind of order.

This particular video was posted on the German forum. It makes me laugh every time I view it .

I am off to NYC tomorrow to spend a few days with my wife Patrica and son Adam. We have friends to visit and we try to make the Thanksgiving day parade every few years. I use to put my son on my back to see over the crowd, now at at 6'6" , he stands above most, plus I can't lift him anymore.

I thought I would post my blog address http://jackpanzica.blogspot.com/

for some text and photos from both the 48 state and European tour. Still working on all the photos and videos from Europe. My car is on the high seas and I hope New Jersey ports will be ready by the 29th of November when my car is due in.
