In an earlier thread, Lorn cited the 1959 steel strike and it impact to engine and car production. He stated "the 1959 STEEL STRIKE. Flint engine production stops on Oct. 14 and resumes on November 30, 1959. St Louis Corvette production STOPPED on November 10 and resumed on either Dec 10 or Dec 14(a Monday)."
My car is a 1960 and vin 1322 and the Birthday Calculator says it was built on November 16, 1959; however, with the above information that was not possible given the St. Louis production stoppage from November 10 to December 10 or 14.
So when was my car built? Since my VIN falls within the November 59 last serial number produced in that month, I assume it was prior to November 10th. Before someone states the obvious, no, I don't have the birthday book
