    Garard;

    I did take some, but with my old camera (about 0 pixel, wife had good camera 10k miles away). I'll check with my son as he took some too with his good camera. It was a real nice "subtily perfect" car like you would expect from the ownership.

      Here is your plain jane red 68 roadster

      And a beautiful 67 bowtie big block

      And a gorgeous Top Flight 65 365 HP A/C roadster

      and finally a well worn 57 Fuelie ( 1 owner) that proves you do not have to be beautiful or "correct" to show at an NCRS Judging meet

        Re: Florida NCRS Regional

        I must say that Tyler and the Florida Chapter were very responsive to requests I made before the meet started. I emailed them to ask for verification as to whether I had been chosen to attend the Thursday afternoon judging school and one of the AJS. I registered my entire family of five for the meet and also registered to judge but did not make the cut and wanted to plan other activities on Thursday afternoon and on Friday and Saturday if I was not chosen. I received email from Tyler and other members of the chapter before we traveled to Florida based on my request. This made planning other family activities outside of the meet easier. The Florida NCRS Chapter did a great job and I look forward to attending again in the future.

              With NCRS on-line registration system you would know as you registered if there was space for you or not in a limited seat Judging School

                    Re: Florida NCRS Regional

                    As Terry pointed out above the seminar attendance is a rather dynamic thing. It was for that reason I did not include that information in the registration confirmation I sent out, I tracked the information but we had a breakdown internally in who was responsible for monitoring the information that has been addressed and corrected. We have been using computerized registration for our meet for over 20 years. I looked at the software and methodology used by the online system and it would make more work for me and since I do ALL the registeration for this event (600 registrations) and the meet is designed around my software, I will continue to use the software I developed and have used for the last 20 years.

                    Terry makes some real valid points but there has been little movement on workable solutions. We and National are very fortunate to be popular and we owe it to the club members to work out a solution that is fair to everyone involved. Once I get my mind around how to present the problem with proposed solutions I will start a thread on this subject for everyone to comment on and contribute ideas. In the end Terry and Roy will be the final arbitrators on what is developed but we owe it to our members to address the problems and solutions.

                    Tyler

                      The black 57 is owned by John Luther, he bought it new in the Chicago area, raced (drag raced, road raced and more) the wheels off of it and has had lots of fun. It has (the last time I talked to him) around 260,000 miles on it and the FI unit is original. Lots of modifications on the car, brakes, Tremec 5 speed, roll bar and more.
                      An interesting point is that John is around 6' 2" and I still wonder how he fits in the car.
                      A great guy and an interesting car.

                        That would make it easy, and this all sounds good, except NCRS does not make it mandatory all members have a computer, have an email address or be computer literate. Some people can't type and are scared to death of computers. Let's not put some members at a disadvantage because they are not into this technology so many of us feel is a necessity of life.

                          Good point Gary, and valid.

                          Just to play Devil's Advocate, computers are cheap as is the service that allows one to have an internet connection. Maybe it's time to introduce an NCRS service to its members that enables them to become a part of the computer age. A tutor program that would help computer challenged members become comfortable taking advantage of all that cyberspace has to offer. This program could be part of a transition to an all computer based NCRS.

                          Perhaps that's not feasible and, your right, it wouldn't be fair to disadvantage any member(s).
