Need help with identifying wire on 67 Power Glide

I 'm getting ready to drop the body on my 67 roadster. Its a 427/400 power glide L68. I went to the NCRS show in Orlando this weekend and took some pictures, when I got home I noticed one of the pictures was of the Kickdown bracket that mounts on the Trans to the engine. I saw a black wire on the bottom bolt does anyone know what that wire is? I'm thinking that wire could be a SOB if not installed before the body goes back on. This pic doesn't show the wire just the bracket. Thanks for the help.

    John -

A/C cars (driver-side battery) use that bolt to attach the battery ground cable to the engine.

        John -

His was probably a replacement - the original battery ground cables were brownish. I don't recall if the bolt used is the lower one for the Powerglide bellcrank or the one below it.

            John -

The Assembly Manual calls the ground cable attaching location out specifically as "Clutch housing attaching bolt" (see Section C60, sheet E3); that assumes a manual transmission, but the lower case bolt on a Powerglide is the same location.
