    942 Block

I am looking for a correct 427/425 block and have an option on a 942 bolck but a 2 bolt main not 4 bolt which is the correct block for 427/425. Would there be any other indentifying marks on the block besides the assembly number which would reveal the block to be a 2 bolt during an inspection and would it be recommended to substitute the 2 bolt for a 4 bolt application.

    Re: 942 Block

Two bolt blocks do not have the drilling's in the LH side of the block. They are near the oil filter and are very visible. With that said, it is not the hardest job in the world to drill, tap, and install the plugs in the side of the block
