We are trying to install a duel quad set-up on a 59 and the 90 degree elbows supplied with the fuel line kit are smaller than the fuel inlets on the carbs. I tried looking in the archives and the only post I could find related to this problem did not have a reply. Has anyone encountered this and do you have a source for the correct elbows or some other solution? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Re: Duel quad fuel fittings
Art: AIM shows an elbow (looks like a "90") GM number 137422 at front of both carbs. I'd call Paragon or see if the correct dimensions are listed in their catalog. They may even be able to translate the GM number to one of their part numbers.
The drawing I am looking at is titled AIR CLEANER, CARBURETOR S, FUEL PIPES AND ENGINE.https://MichiganNCRS.org

IMG_0507.jpgArt - I can't answer you question, but here is a picture of my '57 dual quad setup with the elbows which might give you a point of reference.

Re: Duel quad fuel fittings
Thanks everyone, I should have caught the spelling error and probably would have gotten more hits in the archives. I appreciate all of the suggestions, the photo that Gerry posted confirmed what we knew, that we are using non original carbs and they both have the fuel filter in the inlets which results in the larger fuel line fitting going into the carb. We haven't been able to locate any bushings that will reduce the threads and fit in the space we have to work. I will be going to Grainger this afternoon since they claim they might have what we need. Failing that we will call Paragon. Thanks again for all of the help.- Top

Re: Duel quad fuel fittings
I just wanted to close out this thread with a picture showing how we resolved this problem. We were able to obtain a brass fitting, part number 90-74 from carburation.com at the email address http://www.carburetion.com/WCFB.asp. This fitting has 7/8 male threads and 1/8 NBT female. These fittings replaced the fuel filter inlet on the carbs and allowed us to use the reporduction fuel line and fittings that we had purchased. Thanks again to everyone who offered comments.
